Roushar-Evans Nominations Needed
Each year IBCA honors long time Assistant Coaches (junior high,
freshman, sophomore, varsity)
who have shown dedication to basketball, their school and community,
and the students the educate.
Send your nomination to your at-large director. Nominations
can be made at any time. Selections
of each district winner is made each fall, with the award being
given at the Fall clinic. Retired coaches
are eligible as long as they were nominated within one year
of retirement.
Clinic Speakers List Sought
The IBCA has entered into agreements with some other states,
namely Texas, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin about the securing
of clinic speakers from their states for the annual clinic.
Basically, the process is this. Each state will develop a list
of possible clinicians and share it with Iowa. Iowa will in
turn develop a list and share it with those states. Each state
then will contact one or more coaches from that list and ask
them to present at that states annual clinic.

National Federation Membership
IBCA members are encouraged to join the National Federation
Coaches Association. Besides and outstanding quarterly magazine,
member coaches receive liability coverage for ANY coaching activity
they do, whether at school , or even if the are not associated
