On March 29th and 30th the IBCA 16U boys played in the state AAU tournament
in Bondurant.
The team competed with some of the top programs in the state. During the weekend the boys really started to get a feel for one another. It was a very positive experience for everyone.

In pool play the 16U's lost their first game 68-60 to Martin Brother's
Select. They bounced back and won their next two games. First against Ankeny 76-45 and then in the quarterfinals of tournament play against Eastern Iowa Hoops 75-62. The 16U's faced off
with the Barnstormers in the semi's and fell 67-54. Their final game came
in the consolation game. Once again they lost to Martin Brother's 63-57 to finishthe weekend in 4th place. Each player made solid contributions and Austin Vier (Ballard) was named to the all-tournament team.

The 16U's will be in action again April 19-20 in the Midwest Classic in
Yankton, SD.
