The
Iowa Basketball Coaches Association has selected their
21st annual Academic All State Basketball
Team. The
following players were selected by a panel of Iowa Basketball
Coaches Association Directors from over 150 nominations. To be selected, players must be a senior
and be nominated by their coach.
In addition, the minimum requirements for nomination
are a 25 ACT composite, a 3.0 grade point
average, in the top 25% of their respective senior classes,
and start at least 75% of the games their senior season.
This year's team boasts the following
averages: an ACT composite of 29.8, a scoring average
of 14.9 points per game, and a 3.97 grade point average.
In addition, 16 are either number 1 or 2 in their respective
senior classes.
